Lobuche peak climbing is an expedition to the Himalayas peak if khumbu region. Lobuche peak is a very attractive trekking place for mountaineers. It has two peaks the East peak at a height of about 6119 meters and the West peak at a height of about 6145 meters. Of these, two peaks; the East peak is preferred for climbing.
And the West peak is preferred for expedition purpose. Lobuche East is one of the most challenging and technical climbing peaks of Everest area. Trekkers start Lobuche climbing trip either from Jiri, Phaplu or Lukla and walk to the base camp of the peak. Most popular spots to start Lobuche peak climbing is from Lukla.
Once you reach Lukla you have to trek to Phakding. After reaching Phakding, your next destination is to reach Namche Bazaar. It is better to rest for one day before you start your journey towards the base camp. Next, you have to head for Dole followed by Machharmo and Gokyo Lakes.
You can look around at Gokyo for one day. It is a beautiful place to look around. After hiking to gokyo ri your group heading towards Thaknak. Crossing Cho la pass is an adventurous and amazing experience then you reach Dzongla. There are two options appear in front of you.
You can go to Lobuche peak base camp directly or you came back after exploring the base camp of Mount Everest 5360m and Kala Patthar 5545m. Then you make climbing towards high camp for final Lobuche peak climbing summit attempt.
Climb the popular Lobuche east peak 6119m, located North West of Everest base camp and close to the Khumbu Glacier. If you want to avoid hostile environment and enjoy the enchanting natural beauty April and May is the best time to climb Lobuche peak.
