Following the celebrated trail to Everest base camp, we will be heading to conquer the mountainous challenge imposed by the Island peak. The fascinating geographical appearance of the region, dramatic Buddhist monasteries, quaint Sherpa villages, and hospitable people of the region will be explored during this trip.
Along the trail you will find the striking views of some of the impressive mountains in the world such as Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Makalu, Baruntse, and Ama Dablam forming a breath-taking Himalayan panorama. The ascent gets tougher and adventurous as you get to traverse across the Cho La pass 5420 m and Kongma La pass 5535 m.
Island peak climbing is a strenuous exercise and it requires you to be in a great physical condition to be able to handle it as its summit is above 20000 feet. Island peak is recommended for those who like challenge especially with climbing experience.
